In no particularly relevant order, here’s my pick of all the random stories, news, pictures etc that have caught my eye this week:
(ONE) Star Von Bunny: A Model Tale by Kym Canter and Ellen Kahn is my book of the week. It is a tongue in cheek look at the modelling and fashion world through the eyes of a very unusual aspiring model who climbs from rags to riches, to become a successful supermodel, and deals with all the fashion drama around her. We try to forget she’s a hallmark bunny!
(TWO) Rock Star Games : Style.com went to Coachella, and they have some really cool pictures of what the American festival goers are wearing this year, for some reason though, a whole lot of their pictures seem to be off people who aren’t American, perfect example? Agyness…
On that note, NME tells us that Agness Deyn is going to release a single with New York band Five O’Clock Heroes. ‘Who’, will be released on June 23 on seven-inch vinyl and download formats. Deyn provides vocals on the song and also appears in the video. Hmm… Love her as I do, I think she has officially reached new levels of overexposure.
(THREE) Speaking of Supermodels, Vogue España is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has put out a total of four different covers… And guess what? They all featuring the queen of all queens, Kate Moss.
The Buzz section of ELuxury have a new premium denim fit guide, which includes tips of cuts and washes from brands like J Brand, Citizens of Humanity, Se7ven etc… As well as interviews with their designers.
Style PS has a list of the top 26 UK fashion millionaires… Rightfully pointing out that the High Street millionaires seem to be richer than the designer ones, I suppose disposable clothing still brings in all the big money.
(FOUR) Burn all your old gross pictures! Even the cast of gossip Girl aren’t safe! US Magazine, has a ‘then and now’ photo story on the cast of gossip girl, check it out if you want to see the ‘before they were tanned’, ‘before they were toned’, ‘before they discovered hair extensions’, ‘before they had boobs… ‘
I read The year of living fabulously, in the Guardian, about two con artists in their early twenties…
Jocelyn Kirsch and Ed Anderton went to the best parties, dined in the best restaurants, and splashed their credit cards from Paris to the Caribbean. There was only one problem: the money was stolen from their friends and neighbours! (tah dah… Do you smell future screen play?)
Sad, sad, news… Nicole Farhi, was robbed at knifepoint by a gang who had been waiting for her outside her home.
(FIVE) Whilst I have been dreaming about buying a bicycle, which I could ride around London wearing a summer dress, in the sun, yes, I have also been dreaming about the sun… I had not considered the fact that a bicycle could cost about £7,000! But then I’m talking about the Chanel bicycle… Which I suppose makes the price understandable, this sucks though, because now any bicycle I get will be inflicted with a predestined inferior complex, it won’t be as fun riding around a bicycle that constantly screams “I am not the £7,000 Chanel bicycle!”
Oh yes, it’s Bike Month in New York.

(SIX) I never comment on the Naomi and ‘anger management’ issues that constantly, reoccurring pop up in the media, mostly because I don’t think I would behave any better than her considering the horrible situations she’s often put in… This is because you have to realise I think the assistants and their constant accusations are mostly BS ways of extracting money!
One thing, I can talk about is the fact that I have always thought Naomi Campbells legs were made of something, inhuman, like maybe ’steel’, have you seen her walk? Seriously, they have a life of it’s own… Fierce does not even begin to describe her walk.
We all know she’s doing a cameo in the season finale of Ugly Betty (in which she plays softball amongst other things), but then this quote “I was given a crash course in playing softball and at one point hit the ball so hard it actually broke in half…” from a recent interview got me thinking, err… Are Naomi Campbells hands also inhuman?
(SEVEN) A few months ago, Zara decided they loved Aggy so so much that they were going to create an in-store mannequin in her likeness… The first one was released in the Düsseldorf branch of Zara on February 22, and have since been slowly infecting Zara storees worldwide… The Imagist, shares the above picture of a new mannequin in New York. Yes, I realise this is my third Aggy news…
